UFO-60 Steel ceiling hanging fireplace from Hein & Haugaard
UFO-60 in stainless steel is a handcrafted ceiling-mounted bio ethanol fireplace, designed and produced at Hein & Haugaard in Northern Jutland, Denmark.
The fireplace is equipped with a 1,5-litre bioethanol burner with an adjustable flame size.
The included mounting pole is made in various different standard lengths. Choose the one that first your installation the best or get the ceiling rod custom-made to exactly the length you need. It is not possible to adjust the length of the ceiling rod after production.
With the standard ceiling mount, it is only possible to install the fireplace on a flat ceiling. To install it on a sloping ceiling, you need to upgrade to the sloping ceiling mount.
Over time, the fireplace will assume a beautiful gold/copper colour in the middle of the upper part of the fireplace. This change in colour is due to the influence of the flame.
As standard, the fireplace and mounting pole come in matching colours. But it is possible to get the ceiling rod in other colours if desired.
Since all Hein & Haugaard bioethanol fireplaces are handmade, there will not be two fireplaces, which are completely the same. Each fireplace has its own unique expression.

Installation
The fireplace is installed using the included ceiling mount. It is fastened to the ceiling using screws and plugs (not included) and the ceiling pole is then fastened to the mounting bracket. The UFO shell is then fastened to the mounting pole to make it float.
For optimal stability, it is recommended to screw the mounting bracket directly into one the battens that run inside the ceiling.
We recommended installing the fireplace with a minimum distance of 60-85 cm. to the floor from the bottom of the fireplace, or at a height where the flames match your eye-sight. However, the fireplace can easily hang higher from the floor.
