The Planika Porto Laurent has been tested by the manufacturer for outdoor use, but not under Scandinavian conditions. We do not recommend using the fireplace outdoors all year round, where it may be exposed to frost and harsh weather. We recommend using it under a covered terrace and ensuring it can be moved and stored in a dry, frost-free environment when not in use.

The Planika Porto Laurent is a freestanding automatic bioethanol fireplace designed for outdoor use. All electronic components are waterproof sealed, allowing the fireplace to withstand rain and moisture.

The fireplace features a frame made from Dekton panels with an elegant black marble finish. The 12 mm thick Dekton is composed of ceramic, quartz, and glass, providing a durable surface that is resistant to scratches and high temperatures.

The Porto Laurent burner is based on Planika’s patented BEV^TM technology, which vaporises the bioethanol before ignition. This ensures there is no direct contact between the fuel in the tank and the flame, while also allowing you to adjust the flame across six levels.

The fireplace can be controlled via the built-in control panel, the included remote control, or through an app on your mobile or tablet.

Refilling the burner is simple by replacing or refilling the 5-litre bioethanol container stored inside the fireplace. A full refill provides up to 14 hours of burn time, depending on the selected flame level.

Accessories

Planika Fires does not recommend using third-party decorative logs or stones with their bioethanol fireplaces, as this may cause overheating and damage internal components. Always use accessories approved by Planika for safe and optimal performance.
