This built-in bioethanol fireplace from Planika stands out from other built-in models because the same frame can be reconfigured into four different shapes. Two detachable side panels let you choose between:

• Single-Sided - flame view from the front only
• Left Corner - flame view from the front and left side
• Right Corner - flame view from the front and right side
• Three-Sided - flame view from the front, left and right

Simply remove one or both side panels to switch between shapes - no separate product needed for each configuration.

Automatic Burner

The included bioethanol burner is Planika's own Neo 1000 burner. It's automatic and can be controlled using the included remote or the integrated control panel on the burner itself.

The flames can be adjusted across 2 levels, changing the flame size, fuel consumption and heat output. An electronic fuel pump is included, connected to the burner, so refilling is simple and problem-free, without the worries of spilling fuel or overfilling the tank.

True Zero Clearance

The Neo Fireplace features Planika's True Zero Clearance firebox, rated for direct installation into combustible construction materials without an extra insulation gap - so you can build it into a media wall and mount a TV directly above it. Built-in heat, fuel-spillage and fuel-level sensors continuously monitor operation for added safety.

Decorative Logs Included

The Neo 1000 Fireplace now comes with a decorative log set included as standard, giving the flame a cozy, traditional wood-fire look. Prefer a sleek, modern glass-only aesthetic instead? Just lift out the log tray to switch styles in seconds. Planika Fires does not recommend using third-party decorative logs or stones, as this can cause overheating and damage to internal components - always use accessories approved by Planika for safety and optimal performance.

Installation

The Neo 1000 Fireplace is designed to be built into a wall or media unit and connected to a dedicated 230V power supply. Thanks to its True Zero Clearance rating, it can be installed directly against combustible framing - just make sure to finish the visible edge of the cladding material around the opening. The required wall opening size varies slightly depending on the chosen shape (Single-Sided, Corner or Three-Sided), so check the installation manual for exact framing dimensions. It requires a minimum room size of 59 m³, and needs at least 1 metre of clearance around and above the open flame, free from heat-sensitive or flammable objects.
