Planika Forma 1200 Island Built-in Bio Fireplace

Planika Forma 1200 Island is a built-in biofireplace that is intended to be built into a wall "island", where you have a floating wall hanging over it.

This gives a fantastic view of the flames from all sides of the wall.

However, be aware that the wall above the fireplace must support itself and the top part of the Forma frame. The Forma Island fireplace itself carries no weight.

Bioethanol Burner

For Forma 1200 Island, it is possible to choose between two of Planika's automatic BEV^TM bioethanol burners:

• Planika FLA4 - with up to 10 hours of burn time per refill
• Planika FLA4+ - with up to 31 hours of burn time per refill

Both burners include remote control, as well as the possibility of WiFi and mobile app control and SmartHome connection. SmartHome connectivity is an additional purchase.

In addition, they both use Planika's BEV^TM technology, which makes the combustion of bioethanol cleaner, as it vaporizes the bioethanol before it is burned.

Furthermore, both burners contain a wide range of safety sensors such as a tilt sensor, temperature sensors, an overfill sensor and a CO2 sensor. All these sensors make Planika's burners super simple and safe to use.

Materials

Planika Forma 1200 Island is made of powder-coated galvanized steel and tempered glass. This gives the fireplace a neutral and timeless design that will last for many years. In addition to the glass looking nice on the fireplace, it shields the flames from drafts and small gusts of wind, which help to give a more stable flame.

Installation of the Forma Island

The installation process of Planika Forma Island is relatively easy if you have a bit of technical skill and does not require you to have any special certification. You will therefore be allowed to carry out the installation yourself.

During installation, pay attention to:

• The wall above the fireplace must be able to support its own weight
• The bioethanol burner must be connected to electricity
• Should be installed on a flat and level surface

Accessories

Planika Fires does not recommend using third-party decorative logs or stones with their bioethanol fireplaces, as this can cause overheating and damage internal components. Always use accessories approved by Planika for safety and optimal performance.
