With Cassette 400/600 you get a modern hybrid fireplace, that creates flame effects using water vapour and LED lights. The Cassette 400/600 is designed for do-it-yourself projects, where you want to build your own fireplace or convert an existing fireplace or stove into an Opti-Myst fireplace.

Opti-myst is a technology developed by Dimplex, which creates flame effects by evaporating water, which is then illuminated with LED lights. This gives an amazing flame effect and the fireplaces are called Opti-Myst fireplaces, hybrid fireplaces or water vapour fireplaces.

Dimplex Cassette 400/600 consists of an Opti-Myst firebox of approximately 41 cm in width and as standard it has a black metal plate top. Depending on your choice, the burner can be made 60 cm wide. The flame itself will still be approximately 38 cm wide regardless of the choice of length.
